During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 theme park apps in Africa showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in June, peaking at around 714K in the week of June 17. Weekly revenue for this app remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at $33 in mid-April. Active users also grew steadily, reaching approximately 1.2K by the end of the quarter.

My Disney Experience experienced a notable surge in weekly revenue, especially in mid-June, with a peak of approximately $752. Downloads showed a gradual increase, peaking at around 365K in the week of June 17. Active users also saw growth, reaching around 723K by the end of June.

Universal Studios Japan maintained a modest number of downloads, with a peak of approximately 209K in the week of June 17. Active users showed a similar trend, with the highest number being around 172K in the last week of June.

Universal Orlando Resort had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 116K in mid-June. Active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of approximately 132K in the same period.

Global Village Dubai had minimal activity in terms of downloads and did not generate any revenue during this quarter. The highest number of downloads was 58 in the week of April 8.
